Hello, I’m Pamela Keller and I live in Santa Rosa Valley with my husband, Robert, and our two sons. I’ve had the pleasure of working in Accounting and Human Resources, but I appreciate that I am able to be a stay-at-home mom presently. I am grateful for the time with our boys. I enjoy reading, yoga, hiking, photography and scrap booking. ROA has given us an excellent opportunity to homeschool with support from a community that has a passion for students to learn in a way that works best for them. Brian and Justin attended “regular” school in the past, but we are glad to be a part of the ROA community. As a member of PAC, I will always give my best effort in supporting families that have any suggestions or questions. Participating in PAC is a rewarding experience, and I enjoy meeting families that share their journey on a similar path. I look forward to contributing to a welcoming community environment and helping wherever I can!

Hello homeschoolers! I live in Camarillo with my two sons, Averian and Lucas, and my husband, Ian, who is a high school math teacher. I was born in Torrance, California in 1979 and moved to Camarillo when I was 2. I have my Elementary Teaching Credential from California State University, Chico, and have enjoyed teaching my sons since 2010. We began our homeschool journey at Ventura Charter Homeschool where we first met Ms Claudia and Teacher Leina. I enjoy learning at our own pace, exploring our interests, and working with the incredible teachers and families at River Oaks. I work a myriad of different jobs as a reading tutor, babysitter and teacher. My family and I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, watching The CW’s DC Comic TV shows and/or Marvel superhero movies, swimming, camping, and enjoying time with our extended family who live here in Ventura County. If I ever find myself with enough time for a “hobby”, I enjoy practicing the art of mehndi (or henna), gardening, walking, doing anything that has to do with glitter, reading novels and comics, grocery shopping (just kidding) and decoupaging most plain items in my house. As a ROA PAC member, I enjoy planning fun activities for the kiddos, encouraging new families just beginning their journey and sharing my experience with all homeschooling families. I hope to work with as many parents as possible- GO PAC!

Hi everyone! I live in Thousand Oaks with my husband, Cameron, and our two children- Mason and Madison. Our son is on his first year here at River Oaks Academy and second year homeschooling. I come from a background of fitness and gym management but am so thankful to be in this phase of my life where I get to be home with our two little ones to educate them! I love that I have the ability to teach at a pace that works well for my strong-willed, little busy-body! Learning outside of the public school system has also gifted us the opportunity to explore topics that really interest my son and be able to tie all educational subjects back to that particular topic! It makes learning so fun when you can constantly be readjusting the materials to fit their individual interests! Our family spends most of our free time at the beach surfing, at the gym taking boxing, MMA, and Jiu Jitsu, and anything outdoors exploring the world around us! I’m so excited for the years to come teaching hand-in-hand with the friendly staff at ROA and to meet other families here as well! If you see me in the halls, please introduce yourself! One of the best things about River Oaks is the opportunity to connect with other like-minded families!

Hi all! I live nearby with my husband, Johnny and our three kids. Two kids are enrolled here in River Oaks Academy. Our oldest, Jameson, is in 3rd grade and Johanna is in 1st grade. Juliet was born at the beginning of 2018 so she has a way to go before she will be in school although I'm sure she will be around in the parent lounge quite a bit hanging with me. The school and program has been a perfect fit for our family and we enjoy it a lot. Now in our 4th year, we have all made some really wonderful connections and friends and look forward to making many more. A little background about me is that I was born and raised in Malibu. I have been a Realtor since the beginning of 2004 which allows me not only a fulfilling career but also the flexibility to be available for my kids as much as needed, which is a lot. I enjoy being on the PAC and look forward to many years ahead at ROA. Please always feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions I may be able to help with regarding the PAC, school events, etc. I enjoy field trips and school events so I hope to help plan some fun things for all to enjoy this year. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please email me or find me on campus.
