Congratulations Are in Order!!!
We are excited to tell you that three of our River Oaks high school students were honored at the Ronald Reagan Library Film Festival last week for their outstanding achievements in cinematography! These three students participated in the “Film This!” workshop last summer at the Library, studying the art of film making, and enjoying the opportunity to make their own films.
Hannah R. won the festival award for “Most Inspiring,” for her work titled, “The Woman, the Justice, the Impact, and the Man Who Made It Possible.”
Sophia B. and Mimi C. were awarded “Best Film” for their work titled, “Primetime: John F. Kennedy and the Media.”
Many River Oaks students and faculty were on hand to support our film makers at this exciting Reagan Library event. Congratulations to Hannah, Mimi, and Sophia for making us all proud!
