An Award-Winning Author Is Coming to River Oaks Academy!!!!

Children’s book author Kentrell Martin will be visiting us at our Westlake location on October 15, 2018 @2:00pm.

He is the author of Shelly Goes to the Zoo (picture book), Shelly’s Outdoor Adventure (Picture book), Kasey’s First Day of Basketball Practice (chapter book), and upcoming book Shelly Goes to the Zoo. Each of these titles incorporates American Sign Language (ASL) while telling a fun-filled story.

During his educational and interactive presentation, he will read one of his books and teach the students 10-20 signs in American Sign Language. Towards the end of the visit, he will also stick around to autograph copies of the books for your child(ren).
